The fast food classic is often full of sugar and unhealthy additives. However, there is also an alternative with fresh tomatoes and lots of healthy spices that you can use without a guilty conscience.



Wash the tomatoes and remove the stalk. Then cut into small cubes.

Oil, garlic clove, onion, tomato

Put some oil in a saucepan and heat. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, then sauté the small cubes in the oil until translucent. Add the diced tomatoes and simmer for at least 15 minutes.

Fry the bratwurst in a separate pan with a little oil until it is golden and crispy on the outside. Then cut into small slices and set aside.

Sausage, tomato paste, salt, pepper, Xuckle, curry powder, chilli powder

First add the spices to the tomatoes, then stir in the tomato paste and sugar. Season to taste and simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes. Add the sausage pieces to the sauce and leave to stand for 5 minutes with the pot closed. Then the sausage can already be prepared.
